Meet The Team of Volunteers

Me and Wife Denise moved onto Green Lake in 2019, but we not new to the community or lakeshore.  We both grew up in Forest Lake, married in Forest Lake , and moved to Chisago.  We have two children in the Chisago Lakes School district and currently reside on the south side of Big Green Lake.  We are proud local business owners and supporters of the power sports industry. 

We moved onto Green Lake after visiting all the Chisago lakes and found this to be our home.  We look forward to many incredible memories moving forward, as our family loves to:  fish, boat, boating watersports, paddleboard and just enjoy the stunning views. 

My pledge is to continue what our great past presidents have built, and ensure the lake will be passed onto our children in better condition than when we loved enjoying it.

I became part of the Green Lake Association Board in 2022 and am grateful for the opportunity. I am passionate about the lake, and everything stated in the Association’s mission statement.

I grew up and graduated from White Bear Lake. Growing up in White Bear Lake, we spent a lot of time on the lake and that is where my love of the water started. We fished, water skied, swam, or just took in the shoreline on a leisurely cruise. It has been a goal of mine since I was a child to live on a lake. Early in my working career, I had a laminated picture of my dream lake home on my desk for motivation of my goal of someday living on a lake.

I recently lived in Ham Lake before buying a lot on the southwest end of Green Lake and building our forever house in 2022. I am married and have 4 kids with only one left at the house. I own a manufacturing company and my wife Janae Ashton is a real estate agent. We were able to enjoy the lake all last summer while our house was being built and we could not be happier with our decision.

We are looking forward to being part of the community and meeting a lot of new people on the lake.

Hi there – My wife (Kelsey) and I moved to the south side of Green Lake back in 2023 after spending years traveling all over the metro trailering our boat(s) and dreaming of living on a lake itself one day.  We are so grateful to have been able to move to the Chisago area and are so thankful for the hard work this lake community and previous board members have given.  I want to be a part of the success of our wonderful community and the health of our lake.  We hope to preserve and provide a great environment for our children to grow up in enjoying everything a lake has to offer.  You may notice us foiling, sailing, or even windsurfing out on the lake alongside the usual waterskiing and pontoon cruises.  Feel free to run alongside or tie up anytime – I’m always looking for an excuse to share a nice bourbon or drink with any one of you.  Cheers!

I’ve lived on the lake for three years in South Bay with my husband, our new baby girl, and two dogs. We love being out on the water year-round, whether it’s surfing, sailing, sunset cruises, pond hockey, or kiting. The lake is our favorite place to bring family and friends, and it’s always a good time.
